Rock and Roll isn’t something often used to describe Duty Free shopping — but Yves Saint Laurent Beauté’s latest pop-up shows us that it really should be! In an edgy new collaboration, Yves Saint Laurent Beauté and China Duty Free have taken over the CDF Mall in Hating Bay with their new ‘Make it Yours’ Beauty Pop-up.
CDF Sanya Haitang Bay is the world’s largest Duty Free shopping mall — and so YSL sets itself apart from the competition with a dramatic red and black container van set-up. The pop-up is an exciting combination of digital and real life experiential features that takes personalisation to the next level. Inside, you can purchase and customise an entire range of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté products and Mon Paris fragrances — all through a digital screen. You can also rock out and beat an E-Drum that triggers animated YSL icons on the LED Stage.

If that wasn’t enough, you can even catch a live performance from Indie rock band SIXI – who will be performing four live shows per day throughout June. It seems that with Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, ‘glamorous indie rock and roll’ is really all we need.
“In our mission to build a ‘love brand’ with Yves Saint Laurent Beauté, everything we do begins and ends with our customers, and this spectacular new pop-up is no exception,”
– Emily Coleman, General Manager of Yves Saint Laurent Beauté at L’Oréal Travel Retail Asia Pacific.
